The 1888 Hotel (205) 2nd Floor King Studio Suite

I loved the hotel. Positive: Clean, quaint and historic. Negative: I thought downtown was a lot closer being from out of town. Logistics was a bit rough and Parking in this part of Tampa is a nightmare. We basically parked in the parking lot and used Uber everywhere👍🏾

clean, quiet, little or no human contact Positive: quite Negative: no human contact upon arrival. no one available to help with use of shower or temperature control

Charming and easy Positive: The location, historic building, cool vibe, walking distance to the Pier and great restaurants.

The 1888 Hotel helped us bring in another unforgettable NYE adventure. Positive: We loved our stay at the 1888. The lobby is beautifully set up and inviting if you wish to step outside of your room and drink your coffee while reading a book. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated and they supplied everything you need. The rooms/bathrooms have modern fixtures and you can tell are newly renovated. We stayed in the King Suite and had plenty of room for our 2 night stay. Any questions I had were immediately responded to by text and then a follow up call by the concierge that was assigned to us. Mike the GM was very nice and quickly responded to a small issue I was having with operating the heating system as it was unexpectedly chilly in Florida the days we stayed LOL. We will be staying there again.
